Brigitte Engerer

I was browsing on Youtube when I came across this wonderful interpretation of Chopin's Nocturnes. :)

In fact, I'm listening to the Nocturne in F# minor as I type this. Enjoy!

ABRSM 2014

The time has come for a new British music test. I will be playing three pieces, along with scales, sight-reading, and aural tests. After this, there is only one more test, after which I can take the teacher's exam, and have a nice diploma signed by the prince of Wales. In level 7, the pieces I will be doing are:

Hello everybody, I just wanted to say that I will be playing in Pulcianella Pizzeria on December 13th (Friday the 13th!!) from 6:00-9:00. The address is 1119 W Drake Rd C12, Fort Collins, CO. ‎ They have delicious pizza, and if you are not in the mood for pizza, try something lighter, like a salad (the salads are also very good). Come sit a spell and also listen to one!

William Joseph

Hello everybody, today I relate to you one of my older discoveries rediscovered. One day I heard a William Joseph song on Pandora, and I absolutely loved it. His album Beyond is my favorite. In it, perhaps Leningrad is best (in my opinion), followed by Standing the Storm. The music is very dramatic, and it incorporates orchestra as well as piano. Pay attention to the beautiful arpeggios near the middle and end of both pieces, and to the awesome key change in Standing the Storm. This music is very good!

If you like these, check out his other music!

Finally an Awesome Piano Guys music Video!

Hello everybody, as you might have noticed, the group Piano Guys have released another video, and it is awesome. For a while, they were stagnating and performing pieces of mediocre emotional quality, but this one is just awesome. They incorporate Chopin's Prelude in C minor very well. The prelude is a very famous one, and it also influenced Rachmaninoff to a great extent ( he was inspired by it).

Enjoy!
